In 2006 at
the age of 23 I opened Sutrov Gallery in Paia, Maui. I sold my
own original oil paintings, as well as the work of other local
artists. After three years of running the gallery eight days a week and having openings almost every month, being the main exhibiting artist, and head of marketing
and sales, I moved to a painting studio so I could continue my
business but also have the time to teach and work with children—the
most fulfilling work I've found yet.
